2005 was an exceptional vintage for Pinot Noir in Burgundy, it is widely considered to be one of the best vintages in living memory with wines which have a mesmerising purity and display the differences in appellation which makes Burgundy such a great source of fine wine. We get a small annual allocation from this much improving domaine, Virgile Lignier took over the winemaking from his father a few years ago now and has combined the best of modern and traditional techniques to produce a set of stylish wines which will provide both short and long term drinking pleasure.

• Feel free to mix Fine Wines with “regular” wines to make up your order of 12 bottles (or more!) in total. However, at least 6 bottles must be Fine Wine products, because Fine Wines require special distribution from our temperature-controlled Fine Wine Centre in London.
