Produced from younger vines at this most famous of Chateaux this Merlot dominated blend dispalys all the character of the first wine and the demonstrates the superb terroir which Palmer has. With a nose of blackberry, pencil lead and crushed black pepper it has real complexity and interest. On the palate it has incredible balance and richness with a fabuolous texture. Again it displays cassis and pepper with all the necessary to keep for 10 or more years and fantastic length.
