Beauregard in 2006 again shows some lovely Pomerol typicity. There is some wonderful richness here and commendable breadth. A ripe plum nose is followed by lots of seductive fruit on the palate with some well-integrated oak and a succulent, supple texture. 16.2 points (out of 20)

En Primeur wines are still in barrel at the châteaux and are sold as ‘futures’ up to two years in advance of delivery. The price includes delivery in-bond to a dedicated storage account. "Purple with pale rim. Sweet, floral and a little simple on the nose. Some malted milk character. Light and zesty and full of gas. Sweet start - rather gentle and easy and relaxed. Nice wine for the short to medium term. Rather light. Fresh finish."
