Beauregard in 2006 again shows some lovely Pomerol typicity. There is some wonderful richness here and commendable breadth. A ripe plum nose is followed by lots of seductive fruit on the palate with some well-integrated oak and a succulent, supple texture. 16.2 points (out of 20)

"Purple with pale rim. Sweet, floral and a little simple on the nose. Some malted milk character. Light and zesty and full of gas. Sweet start - rather gentle and easy and relaxed. Nice wine for the short to medium term. Rather light. Fresh finish."

"Clean, ripe and fruity, with a full body, round tannins and a friendly finish. Nicely done. This is a sensitive wine."
