A fruit-filled red Burgundy, from Louis Latour's Clos Chameroy winery, just north of Beaune. Only 20% of the wine has been fermented in oak for added complexity without sacrificing purity of fruit. Menthol-like notes on the nose contribute to the fresh and uplifting character, and the soft-edged but persistent redcurrant fruit lingers on the palate.
