    Delicious!

This has always been one of my favourite wines. I've been drinking it now for nearly 15 years, well before it became popular. You won't be disappointed. Better than alot of champagnes.

Easily the best sub caliber sparkling within a 500 mile radius. Delicate full nose finish with a hint of pear and melon. For geo thermal lovers there’s a refreshing touch of magnesium and phosphorus. That trace of Sulphur on the finish gives a tasty little refreshing aftershock which adds wonder and charm to those strange, distant clouds on view from your balcony. Easily worth the $10 if its on special and you have had nothing else to drink for a while. It’s also surprisingly cheaper than many other curious products you can readily obtain in downtown Auckland. If you don't know your Bollinger from your Clicquot this is without doubt the most suitable alternative for you.

    Right up there with Champagne

I have been drinking Lindauer Special Reserve for donkey's years and it never fails to impress. It is the best non-Champagne sparkler I have found and is up there with Champagnes costing £30 a bottle. It is complex in flavour and looks good in the glass with its pink/straw colour.

    Brilliant Value for Money

"Strawberries" "Fresh" "Clean" "Creamy" "Eminently drinkable" "Better than many other champagnes" "Delicate" - our guests used all those descriptions in response to my requests when I served this instead of "proper" champagne at over twice the price.; none of the guests had realised that it wasn't ! At around £11 a bottle it would still be excellent value for money - but at under £9 it's quite amazing value.

    A summer Celebration

With the faintest pink/orange tint the fine bubbles and the club shaped bottle, this wine looks the thing. In the mouth the well balanced, rich flavour and the refined fruit continue the good impression . The persistn mousse tells of class. It drinks well with summer salads, cold meats and fish and at this price is very quaffable. Treat yourselves and your friends on a sunny summer day to a long lazy Sunday lunch Close

"I keep coming back to this sparkling for any celebration! There may well have been a boom in Prosecco over the last few years but New World producers such as Lindauer are now making fantastic sparklings which offer great value for money."
