Origin
The De Bortoli estate is one of the largest in Victoria. The Windy Peak wines are made at their Dixon's Creek winery, and is sourced from sites in Victoria's Yarra and King Valleys. This Pinot Noir is made by cold maceration followed by warm fermentation.
Taste
A medium-dense red colour with youthful hints of purple. Aromas are predominantly of red cherry, strawberry and redcurrant, which carries through onto the palate, finishing with a hint of spice.
Enjoy
Best served with light pasta dishes, cured ham

    "Fresh, bright and vibrant, this is a deliciously savoury take on the pinot noir grape. It has some meaty, minty, spicy and herby notes as well as fresh cherry fruit. A lovely tipple. (Jamie Goode, Sunday Express, 12/02/2012.)"
