Grape

Grenache, Mourvèdre, Syrah or Shiraz

Origin
Based on the banks of the Murray River in South Australia, this classic Southern Rhône blend combines the ripe spicy fruit of Grenache with the richness of Shiraz and the tannin and colour of Mourvédre.
Taste
Ripe and full with lots of spice, this meaty red packs a punch with lots of sweet vanilla notes and dense dark fruit. Tannins are round and integrated and length is medium-long.
Enjoy
This full bodied wine displays deep fruit and a really rich finish, so ideally match with dark meat dishes such as beef Wellington.

    Summer Glugging

Totally disagree with 'Wineman'. The Oxford GSM was recommended by our friends in the Norwich branch as a cheap, quaffable summer red. And that's exactly what it is. Fun and fruity drinker that chills well too. Excellent value.

    Expected better

Just bought some of this in the hope of it being a good everyday wine. Unfortunately it has a not a very pleasant nose which is rather offputting. Medium/light body ,so all in all a dissapointing bottle!

    plummy

This wine is billed as 'vegan and vegetarian friendly'. It is big, bold and plummy. Great for drinking on its own or with food.

    Not Quite there...

May be this need decanting - but unfortunately it didn't hit the mark. Didn't appear to be full-bodied enough to warrent the "D" with slightly bitter aftertaste. Doesn't match up to French equivalent - but for under £8.00 ok for drinking whilst watching Mastermind.
