SAUVIGNON BLANC
Sauvignon Blanc is cultivated all around the world, but is particularly successful in the New Zealand region of Malborough, where wines have an unmistakable gooseberry character, and the Loire Valley regions of Sancerre and Pouilly Fumé where the wines have a minerally and herby style. Although typically fermented in steel, Sauvignon can also be oaked; a technique used in the Napa Valley, (California) to produce Fumé Blanc.

Sourced from a range of vineyards this is a versatile and easy-drinking wine. Light and straightforward, with an up-front nose of citrus fruit, tinged with a subtle leafy character. Crisp and dry on the palate, with plenty of refreshing acidic bite. A great lunchtime white, ideal as a partner for rice or pasta salads, or simple white meat and fish dishes.
