  Simply stunning fizz at a great price

  Hooray - a bottle of fizz that delivers! I can't remember when I've enjoyed a champagne as good as this for the money for ages. Anything in this price range or below always falls short. Some are close but most are what I call "corporate hospitality champagne". The sort you're served at corporate functions - not very fizzy and bitter. This is delicious - a wonderful biscuity nose, lots of lovely smooth bubbles which stay until the end of the bottle and a dry but fruity mouth. Fabulous champagne for the price - if I had the money I'd buy up the entire stock!

  Excellent, but needs a brighter finish!

  One of the best offers I have seen....excellent quality wine, very drinkable. Wonderfully warm fruity/biscuity taste with loads of body. The only downside, but not detracting from the overall appeal is that it lacks a full finish. Many people, including myself, prefer this finish to the sometimes cloying residual finish with some champagnes. An, as usual, excellent product from Heidsieck. Recently bought 42 bottles !

  The ladies love it!!

  This is the best value Champagne we have found! A lovely soft champagne that the girls love! This is better than many more expensive major champagne houses offerings and is highly recommended. Many people ask which champagne it is and are stunned by the price when told. Buy some for Christmas!

  Outstanding Champagne for the price

  I think this Champagne is excellent, clean, fresh and perfect for pouring to guests at parties. I have bought this and numerous other wines from Majestic of good quality. I was a little irritated to order 6 bottles of Champagne to see it drop by £2 a bottle barely a week later. I did have to order another case at that price.

  How?

  How on earth do Majestic manage to offer such fantastic value on this excellent Champagne? Fifteen quid! For a really good, top house challenger? This would be a delight regardless of price, but considering that it's cheaper than many supermarket own label NV's and the awful no mark rubbish that appears on the shelves, make it pretty irresistible.

  A Heidsieck star

  If you have tried the blue bottle and been disappointed (and face it who isnt?) this will be an even nicer surprise. At this price for a 2004 vintage it really cant be beaten and is great before or with food. Currently buying up stocks as 6 bottles makes a great christmas gift.

  Solid Vintage Champagne

  "From a relatively hot year that gave a softer and fruitier style than other vintages. Heidsieck have produced a vintage Champagne here that is rich, elegant but also showing up front fruit. A very attractive glass that offers value for money."
