"Much more convincing than the same producer's Dolcetto (84 points) this has ripe cherry and berry fruit with a background of coffee and spice. The palate has lots more coffee and rich, full oak and fruit sweetness. This is balanced too, however, with a herbal lift to the fruit and plenty of creamy depth and length. Buy any two De Forville wines until end of October 2009 bringing the equivalent bottle price down to £9.99. Score: 89/100
