Layered on the palate, it has tons of fruit, plenty of spice box notes, a firm structure, and 2-3 years of ageing potential.' 92 points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate.
"Another stunning wine from Ribera del Duero, one of my favourite regions of Spain, which is gaining cult status and usually has prices to match. This fine example is aged in both French and American oak for 12 months and offers a beautiful nose of dark fruits, smoke and pencil shavings. The palate is a real mouthful, rich and powerful yet beautifully balanced with a silky smooth texture. At this price, it offers great value and has the potential to age, if you can bring yourself to do such a thing. Personally, I don't think I could leave it alone... "

From one of Marlborough's best known wineries comes this zesty, fresh Sauvignon with an incredibly long finish of remarkable intensity.
Made with a blend of Merlot, Carignan and Grenache this wine has an elegant nose of blackberry and redcurrant with a hint of spice. It is well balanced with smooth tannins.

One of Italy's great unsung white wines. A brilliant all-rounder, with plenty of citrussy fruit and faint notes of apple and quince.

This is a full-bodied version of Grenache, the southern Rhône's workhorse grape variety. It is attractive and ripe with blackberry and cranberry overtones and a pleasant herby finish. A good alternative to Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
This wine was a winner in the 2009 Top Vins de Pays competition and tastes much better than the Best Red in Show for a fraction of the price!
Ripe red fruit with a spicy and complex character. Drinking very well at the moment but will develop beautifully with a couple of years ageing.
"The unlikely blend of Bordeaux and Rhône varieties with a dash of pinotage give this red an unmistakable South African feel. Bramble fruits and white pepper dominate on the nose whilst subtle undertones of juniper, ginger, and morello cherry emerge on the palate. A powerful wine with impressive harmony, this is a perfect match for the more esoteric meats from the farmers' market. "
