  Class in a glass

  This Champagne has it all. Fruit bread and nuts on the palate; this is what quality NV champagne should taste like. Instead of buying one bottle of Krug you could have 5 L.P (at this mad price). If I was offered 1 Krug nv or 1 LP nv for nothing I would take this charmer all day every day

  Very elegant

  Yes, not so sure I agree with previous review re: if I had the money i'd rather have this over Krug. Krug is after all amazingly good. But nevertheless LP is a quality champagne similar to Taittinger and is a great Grand Marque for special occasions. Lovely classic champagne flavours with a hint of added freshness to the palate, slightly less Brut than other Bruts I feel. Maybe more sweetness in the dosage.

  "My passion for Laurent-Perrier’s innovative, consistently good champagnes continues. The Brut is chardonnay-dominated and, while it may not be the most thrilling of all the big houses, its elegant, waxy, Granny Smith and lemon zest palate never disappoints. The Prince of Wales is a big Laurent-Perrier fan, so this may be the bubbly served on April 29 [2011]."
