Château Bellerives Dubois

Château Bellerives Dubois 2005

Château Bellerives Dubois is located in Reignac in the Blaye region on the right bank of the estuary Gironde. 2005 was a good vintage in Bordeaux due to ideal climatic conditions during the growing period. Dense purple in colour, the nose boasts ripe black fruits with elegant toasted notes. Well structured and round on the palate, packed full of fruit with hints of liquorice.

"Côtes de Blaye has long been acknowledged as one of the best of the lesser bordeaux spots, and in a great vintage like 2005 the quality is impressive. So check out this two thirds merlot, one third cabernet sauvignon wine, a seductive, supple, ripe, plummy, smoky-oaky, sandalwood-scented claret."
