Sadly available only in tiny allocations, and a perennial favorite of the Majestic team, Hosanna has as usual created a wine at the top of the Pomerol league. Some richness on the nose, backed by a vivid purple colour in the glass, balanced acidity and low but ripe tannins. Will drink relatively young, from 2012-2020 16.4 points (out of 20)

"Unusually rich nose for a 2007. Almost New World ripeness on the nose - and very deep colour. Mouthfilling fruit. Almost verging on dried fruit/curranty - most unusual for 2007. The fruit really seems to have ripened well here. Some may want just a tad more acidity...! But it's certainly impressive. 17 points (out of 20)."

"Aromas of minerals and flowers follow through to a medium-to-full body, with fine tannins and a medium-long finish. Shows good ripeness and concentration for the vintage 88-91 points."
