Valençay is a tiny 130 hectare cru in the heart of the Loire where the vines are planted on the sand and flint slopes to the south of the Cher River. A blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay, the wine was matured on it's lees to add depth of flavour and a very light natural spritz. Crisp, fresh and attractively complex with aromas of white fruits and flowers.

"A blend of chardonnay and sauvignon blanc grapes, this bright white has a good acidity and a crisp citrussy taste. Precise and full flavoured, it's a first-class food wine."
