"A powerful, complex Malbec made from a vines planted in the 1930s, 620 miles south of Bueno Aires. It has heady aromas and flavours of blackberries, cassis, minerals, licorice and black tapenade and is dense and vigorous, with acidity as well as tannin, but it's also balanced and refined. It needs another couple of years and will last for another ten.
Rating: 93/100
Goes with: Red meat & Dark game, Hard cheese."
