M de Minuty Rosé 2011 Côtes de Provence

Pale honeysuckle pink, and offering a clean nose of citrus fruit, offset by subtle floral and candied notes. Fresh acidity makes for a an incisive and lively palate, with a rounded feel. Partner with the delicate flavours of fresh shellfish, or with a mozzarella and sun-ripened tomato salad.

Montenovo Godello 2010 Valdesil, Valdeorras

A youthful, green-tinged straw yellow wine, with a clean nose of grassy herbaceousness, and pear and pineapple fruit. Light in weight, yet with a palate-coating sense of texture. Perfect with Spain's simple fish tapas dishes, such as grilled sardines, octopus or calamares.

Château de Cléray Muscadet de Sèvre et Maine Sur Lie 2011 Sauvion

Steely and focused, this shows its class from the very first aromas of well defined citrus and stone fruit, flowing seamlessly into notes of wet stone. Dry and incisive on the palate, with great length. A must with haddock, crusted sardines and other fresh classic fish dishes.

Black Cottage Pinot Rosé 2011 Marlborough

Pale salmon pink, this wine has a gentle and attractive nose of ripe red berries and subtle spice. Light and refreshing, the delicate fruit and crisp acidity fade to a clean, dry finish. Chill well and enjoy on its own or with salads or prawn dishes.

Il Sodero Sangiovese Cabernet 2008 Tenuta Moraia Toscana

Bright crimson in colour with a matching aromatic profile: red cherry, raspberry and red pepper aromas predominate, with very subtle spice. Medium palate weight and flavours of cherry and liquorice. Complements the fresh acidic zip of traditional pasta sauces, such as arrabiata or primavera.

A dark ruby/purple hue is followed by notes of blueberries, raspberries, crushed rocks, and spring flowers, medium body, a soft, silky texture, lush, ripe fruit, and a heady finish.

Beaujolais 2011 Château de Pizay

A light, lithe and youthful wine, with a nose of red apples, raspberries and subtle notes of bell peppers and petals. Super-light tannins and ripe redcurrant fruit are framed by zingy acidity. Chill to around 12ºC and enjoy with coarse pâté or cured ham.

Wirra Wirra Church Block Cabernet Shiraz Merlot 2010 McLaren Vale

An aromatic nose, full of cedar, aniseed, clove and leaf notes. Bright plum, bramble and cherry fruit characterise the plush and juicy palate, supported by smooth-textured tannins.
