One of the oldest properties in St-Emilion, this is classic right-bank claret with unmistakable Merlot smoothness and a plummy, baked truffle and toast character. Its inherent softness makes it drinkable now although it could age for 5 years if carefully stored. This will be well matched with roasted red meat, grilled white meat and cheese.
