Doisy-Védrines is renowned for being ultra-rich and ripe, and this example is no exception. Jancis Robinson said of the 2003 Sauternes, "I found this group of wines one of the most impressive I had the pleasure of tasting in early April 2004". Now bottled they are gorgeous, rich wines and will drink well early.
