Grape

Prosecco

Origin
Prosecco takes its name from the grape that is used to make it. The home of this wine is the Veneto region of Northeast Italy. Frizzante indicates that this wine is only lightly sparkling.
Taste
This is a gently sparkling and off-dry style. Very pale in colour, with floral and citrus fragrances. It is crisp and clean with small bubbles and aromas of pear and honeydew melon.
Enjoy
This delicate wine can be enjoyed on its own as an apéritif or with light dishes such as seafood of fruit salads.

With the £ down 25%, it's harder than ever to find a nice sparking wine...and many will turn to cheaper Prosecco. but this is unfortunately not the one you are seeking. The texture is thin, the flavour also thin, and sweet. A head ache all around (literally in my case).

    Lacks sparkle

Does not come with the traditional method Champagne cork and wire but a screw cap. Consequently if not so much a sparkling wine but just slightly gassy wine. The flavour is more of a dry white wine and does not taste like a traditional prosecco I will not be buying this again

    Excellent value for money

Family gathering, nice sunny afternoon, splash of peach juice, just the job! The consensus of all our friends and family was very positive. Prosecco is never remarkable for me, but this was refreshing and not over sweet. Maybe it needs to be drunk in the sun, of which we have had little so far this year.

    Nice and light

A light wine in both colour and flavour but it goes well with oriental and spicy foods. Very slightly sparkling which helps it when accompanying oriental flavours. A nice drink on it's own too. Don't expect too much from it and you should enjoy it.

    A great party drop

My wife and I buy this drop of fizz every year in time for the party season. It has a very subtle flavour and is drinkable as a party favorite as well as on a long hot summer afternoon/evening. Very nice indeed!
