Origin
Nuits-Saint-Georges typically produces some of the most vibrant and intense wines of the Côte-de-Nuits exhibiting white flowers and dark cherry. The town also boasts, the Hospices de Nuits, its own charity auction in March.
Taste
Showing powerful aromas of red cherry with undertones of blackberry and blackcurrant this wine is intensely fruity. Ten to fourteen months in oak helps add complexity and finesse.
Enjoy
Well balanced acidity and velvety tannins make this the perfect partner for Boeuf Bourguignon.

    Huge disappointment

I bought this as a special parcel and regretted it deeply. Very harsh on the palate and seemingly doesn't match any food. I can't possibly agree with Majestic's appraisal and wonder which of their buyers actually tasted this wine. I definitely won't be buying the Christmas selection as I see this is one of the listed wines!

Thin, fruit forward, no back bone

This was the 2009 we drank. It wasn't unpleasant, but it really wasn't doing very much. Wouldn't stand up with any kind of food. Really not worth trying

    poor and incipid wine

had no body , seemed slight tannine tasted ; appeared to be clearer than expected and was a poor comparison to some of the previous versions of this wine I have bought before . Looked and teasted too light. Have recorked bottle and will return at earliest convenience
