A bright pink rosé, full of summer berry aromas. Refreshingly dry and with a zippy acidity, rounded off by the lashings of supple, juicy fruit.

The aromas reveal a fine garrigue character, fragrant and appealing. The palate is vibrant in style with a sweet core of deep berry and cherry fruit as well as provençal herb. Classic in style, with a light, fragrant vein.
Attractively sweet-natured on the nose, with wild strawberry and dark cherry fruit. On the palate this is full-bodied, with notes of plum, cherry and blueberry, as well as fruitcake spice and a touch of a white pepper. Beautifully balanced, this is highly drinkable and will pair well with rich seasonal casseroles and roasted lamb.
Such refined power, this is serious and persistent without ever feeling aggressive. There are notes of iron and meat in combination with creamy bramble fruits, all bound together with superbly judged tannins and oak.
The nose reveals terrific ripe cassis-laden fruit, with a marked note of white pepper. The palate boasts expansive, layered fruit, deep, juicy and wonderfully ripe. The underpinning tannins are so well masked here, behind copious quantities of dark, dusky peppery fruit. Notes of a slightly savoury nature lend complexity to a dense yet more supple Hermitage. Very appealing, this will offer enjoyment in youth, yet still possesses the structure to reward cellarage.
Deep crimson in the glass, the powerful nose has black-currant, cherry, liquorice and smoky aromas. On the palate, the intense fruit and black tapenade flavours are framed by subtle woody notes and a tightly-knit tannic framework.
A classic Pégau style, with soft-skinned hedgerow fruits melding with smoky, savoury notes on the nose. More streamlined than opulent on the palate, this is not a heady Grenache-led wine, but more restrained. Cool, focused and linear in style, there is lovely fruit, terrific elegance and vibrancy. The Pégau hallmarks of leather and liquorice are discernible on the finish.
The 2007 marks the return of a denser style at Colombier; the nose exudes cassis fruit allied to smoky, mineral notes. There is a sweet, ripe core of berry fruit, with fine purity and precision. Intense with some spice, with a marked, mineral vein, the bright core of fruit captures an attractive freshness here, with enjoyment even at this young stage only curtailed by a fine tannic grip exerted to back palate.
