This vintage of Yquem was extremely successful, producing ripe, approachable wines with good levels of botrytis and received 92 points from Robert Parker. It represents good value when compared to other vintages and is open, expressive and complex on the nose with notes of crême brulée, pineapple and honeysuckle. The palate is rich, unctuous with great balance and the promise of much to come. Will drink beautifully over the next 15 years or so.
