The White is Vergelegen's take on top white Graves. With a powerful and complex nose of greengage, fresh herbs, lime and hot buttered toast the palate is rich and layered with real polish and terrific balance.

Domaines Ott Clos Mireille Blanc de Blancs 2009

An interesting blend of 70% Semillon with 30% Rolle, a little-known grape which adds a fleshy quality and an aromatic floral lift to the Semillon's citrus backbone.

Château Rieussec 2003 Sauternes, 1er Cru Classé

Now bottled they are gorgeous, rich wines and will drink well early. Generally just behind Yquem in quality Rieussec is a very fine wine indeed.
