Giesen Sauvignon Blanc 2011 Marlborough

This wine is blended from 32 separate vineyard parcels, vinified in the winery in the town of Blenheim. A richly tropical nose, dominated by youthful aromas of lime, lemongrass and green herbs. Fruit on the palate leans more toward gooseberry and citrus, with a zesty acidity.

This wine is a classic example of a clean modern cool climate Sauvignon Blanc. It displays aromas of gooseberries and guava on the nose and is dry yet fruity on the palate.

Anakena Indo Sauvignon Blanc 2010/2011 San Antonio Valley

Pale lemon green in colour, with a nose of lime zest, asparagus and nettle. The flavours are predominantly citrus, with savoury, leafy notes and an almost saline minerality on the finish.

Danie de Wet Sauvignon Blanc 2010/2011 Robertson

This Sauvignon comes from the De Wetshof Estate, 16km south-east of Robertson, an elegant white with zesty grapefruit flavours and a mouthwatering dryness.
