Isabel Estate Sauvignon Blanc 2011 Marlborough

One of the largest family-owned vineyards in the region are responsible for this quintessential Marlborough Sauvignon: herbal notes and exotic hints of guava and elderflower on the nose, and flavours of gooseberry, citrus and ripe melons.

Vergelegen The White 2009

The White is Vergelegen's take on top white Graves. With a powerful and complex nose of greengage, fresh herbs, lime and hot buttered toast the palate is rich and layered with real polish and terrific balance.

Sancerre Comte Lafond 2010 Ladoucette

Ladoucette is one of the top Pouilly-Fumé producers and this is his marvellous Sancerre. Refined and elegantly balanced it boasts an aromatic complexity of ripe gooseberries and rhubarb.

A wonderfully bold departure from intense single-varietal unoaked Sauvignons, Cape Crest barrel-ferment theirs with the addition of small amounts of Semillon and Sauvignon Gris.

Rudd Estate Sauvignon Blanc 2009 Mount Veeder

It boasts extraordinary minerality as well as laser-like precision and notes of honeyed melons intermixed with gun flint, nectarines and lemon blossoms. A beautifully textured, rich, fresh Sauvignon Blanc, it should drink nicely for several years. 93 points. Robert Parker, The Wine Advocate.

Anakena Indo Sauvignon Blanc 2010/2011 San Antonio Valley

Pale lemon green in colour, with a nose of lime zest, asparagus and nettle. The flavours are predominantly citrus, with savoury, leafy notes and an almost saline minerality on the finish.
