Grape

Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling

Origin
St Hallet blend this wine using fruit sourced from several of their growers in the Barossa and Eden Valleys. Each variety is vinified separately before blending, with the small proportion of Riesling adjusted each vintage adding an unusual twist to a classic blend. Please note there is limited availability of this product in the northwest area, which may affect your order.
Taste
A youthful character on the nose, which brims with notes of lime, apple and melon. Equally zesty and fresh on the palate, but with an approachable softness of texture, and well rounded acidity.
Enjoy
Great for drinking on its own, or as a partner for a warm chicken salad.

    Poachers Blend is a beauty

Even at full price, this wine is a joy. At the offer price, I'd advise you to get a couple fo cases before they all go. My wife and I enjoyed it without food, simply as a sunny, light but fruity drink. Full marks.

    Excellent

Bought for my wife who loves it, nice citrus flavour without over powering you. Prefers it well chilled and wants some more.

    Wonderful value for money

Whenever this comes back on offer I always snap up a case or two! Sure, there are better Marlborough SBs around but not at £5 a bottle. The addition of Riesling makes all the difference - chill it well and simply enjoy!

    Why wouldn't you buy?

At this price this is a steal. Lovely, refreshing, clean taste. The addition of some Riesling to the other grapes gives it a nice lift. Go for it - if they haven't sold out.

    Lovely summer white

We may yet have a summer! If so this is a lovely refreshing white to enjoy on a sunny day. Less tropical and dense than the usual Aussie/NZ Sauv Blancs, this blend has added interest from the Semillon and a crisp twist of lime from the Riesling. Very good value.

  • A great tasting White from one of Australia's quality producers

"This great tasting white uses grapes grown in the Barossa Valley from one of Australia's quality producers. There are flavours of pineapple, lime and green apples by the bucket making this white a very juicy, refreshing style. This wine would be enjoyed with family, friends etc, around a barbeque or any other social event. I enjoyed drinking this wine, will certainly be having it again and the offer price makes this St Hallett Poacher's Blend a steal!! Enjoy!"
