From a Domaine which has followed Biodynamic principles for the last fifteen years, our buyers have snapped up this cut-price parcel (normally retailing at £30) which shows just how concentrated and plump Sancerre can be. With a classic flinty, herbaceous nose of real intensity, the palate is taught and focused, with pears, greengage and wet stones. A real food wine, it will match all manner of simple seafood and especially Sancerre's traditional partner, goat's cheese.

" It has to be said, that this is the bees knees of Sancerres. An intense bouquet of pear drops, limes, flint and wet grass. The palate is unbelievably rich, but kept in balance by the limey acidity. Pears and green apples dominate on the palate, with the tongue tingling acidity and flavour of limes following up. Unbelievably refreshing and palate cleansing, the wine finishes long and clean."
