Origin
Normally grown almost exclusively in the South of France, particularly the Rhône Valley, this rich white wine is the quality constituent of white Châteauneufs and Hermitages. Handpicked in batches for optimal ripeness, a small percentage is fermented in oak for richness.
Taste
Delicately aromatic on the nose, with a hint of peach and flinty minerality, while the palate is full and rich with peach and apricot flavours dominating. These are well balanced by a fresh acidity.
Enjoy
Fairly rich, nutty and creamy, this wine will go well with fish dishes with almond sauce.
