Produced exclusively for Majestic Wine from the heart of the Wairau Valley. The wines of Fairleigh Estate exude typicity and the New Zealand style. Although only grown in small quantities, Kiwi Rieslings are making an impact in the minds of connoisseurs.
Taste
Vibrant pungent lime with pear skin characters, hints of Riesling's aromatics and white floral, with an almost off dry palate of white florals, stones and lemony acidity. A fresh and clean finish.
Enjoy
Drinking well now as an apéritif or over the next three years with seafood chowder or grilled vegetables.

    OK OZ

    Decent attempt this, don't normally get on with S.Hem riesling. Nice balance, nice finish. Nice.

    A lovely, easy to drink wine

    We bought this wine for our wedding and we were so pleased we did. Our guests commented on what a good choice it was, and we've certainly enjoyed drinking the extra bottles we were left with, so much so we plan to buy some more!

    New favourite

    Fast becoming a family favourite. This wine is off-dry with just a hint of sweetness unlike many Kiwi Rieslings which veer towards the sweeter style of varietal.

    Disappointing

    Ok with spicy chinese food,but a litle bland. On the basis of the exhuberant previous review i decided to offer this as one of two wines at our wedding blessing to offer a bit of variety. It was barely touched. I wish I'd stuck completely with the Villa Maria private bin sauvignon blanc which disappeared very rapidly!
