Origin
The Cave de Turckheim was founded in 1955, and immediately invested a great deal in new winemaking technology to bring old-fashioned Alsatian winemaking up-to-date. The Cave now offers a range of over 50 wines, all made in a modern, dry style.
Taste
Pale straw coloured, offering a fresh and youthful nose of golden apples, with subtle mineral oil undertones. Crisp and dry grapefruit flavours predominate, with soft acidity rounding out the palate.
Enjoy
Fabulous with grilled white fish such as bream or bass, or with roasted vegetables.

    Excellent wine

    From the first time I went to France I loved wines from the Alsace. This wine reminds me so much of warm summer evenings eating seafood and great cheeses. And a very good price too. Hopefully this review won't be read by too many people otherwise they might go and buy it all!!! Another great wine from Majestic.

    yummy!

    as a late convert to Riesling and alsace wines in general I am now totally won over. Forget the rieslings of the 70's and table wines this is a magnificent bottle and goes well with lobster and green salads.

    lovely dry white

    fruity, petrol aromas, crisp and dry, some citrus but not too acid; would buy again

    Reasonable Riesling

    Typical citrus , dry flavour with little fruit - rather acid so best served with food - 6 out of 10
