Chapelle-Chambertin Grand Cru 2007 Domaine Ponsot

With wild loganberry fruit on the nose, this has a perfumed, smoky note in the glass. On the palate, the tannins are evident, but well balanced and not at all extracted. There is dark berry fruit and an almost steely mineral vein. Elegantly fresh on the finish, this is very fine indeed.

Fixin 2008 Humbert Frères

Fragrant nose of red cherry fruit which follows through to the ripe, juicy palate.This has a pleasing weight and light, velvety tannins which will enable this to be enjoyed in the short term. Great value.

Volnay 1er Cru Les Mitans 2007 Domaine de Montille

Floral, scented fruit to the fore. The palate has a lovely delicacy and persistent fragrance with a sweet ripe concentration of fruit. The wine flows across the palate and carries to a long finish. Purity and elegance are the hallmarks here.

Fresh ruby red in colour with elegant, pure red fruits on the nose and palate and just a hint of earthiness.
