Lovely on a Summer Evening
My wife's all-time favourite (and, believe me, she's tried lots).
Very pale pink colour and, unlike robust Champagnes such as Roederer or Bollinger, easy to drink on its own - lovely on a summer evening in the garden.
My only reservation would be that, to me (and all our taste buds differ) Oeil de Perdrix doesn't actually taste pink - there's an edge of grapefruit. Not unpleasant, just unexpected in a rosé Champagne.
