Mercurey is one of the larger appellations within the Côte Chalonnaise subregion of Burgundy, and Château de Mercey is one of the region's largest and most respected producers, with 48 hectares of vineyards.
Taste
A soft and supple red Burgundy, with an inviting raspberry and strawberry jam nose. Tannins are lean but still offer grip and length, further boosted by a redcurrant-like acidity.
Enjoy
Remakably versatile wine. Great with anything from charcuterie and cold cuts to magret de canard.
