Origin
The gentle, rolling hills of the Mâconnais region in the south of Burgundy makes fresh and fruity wines accessible in their youth. Sometimes made from Gamay, this Mâcon Rouges is nevertheless 100% Pinot Noir.
Taste
An enticing nose showing subtle hints of redcurrant and raspberry, with a fruity, well-balanced palate and a fresh finish.

Best consumed while fresh and young, making the perfect red for white meat.

    Dissappointing

    Very light as I expected in a Pinot but lacking in nose and depth of flavour.

    Perfect with Turkey

    Smooth, easy drinking young Burgundy, with not too much alcohol. Was perfect with the Christmas turkey. Recommended.

    Gorgeous

    Very smooth, lovely blackcurrant / bit spicy, had for Christmas dinner with Turkey. My mother-n-law who normally doesnt like more than a glass had almost two bottles..!
