
Pinot Noir produces deliciously smooth wines with ripe silky tannins and juicy red summer fruit. Although it is famed for producing the red wines of Burgundy, and in particular, the Côte d’Or, Pinot Noir is now widely cultivated outside of Burgundy, in regions that mirror its cool growing conditions, such as Central Otago, New Zealand, the Yarra Valley, Australia and Carneros, California. This superb Pinot Noir is hand-harvested, warm-fermented and matured on French oak barrels for 10 months. An expressive nose of cherry, raspberry and mocha leads into a silky and refined palate of ripe black cherry fruit, nuanced with wonderful spice notes.
