The Galvo Garage 2007 d'Arenberg, McLaren Vale

A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and a little Cabernet Franc, made on a small scale using traditional methods, this meaty and muscular red displays plenty of New World fruit and power with Old World structure and complexity.

The 16th century Domaine is now owned and run by British couple Charles and Ruth Simpson. The name of this cuvée means 'the last varieties', the constituent grapes being the latest to ripen.
