2004 was a sensational vintage for the wines of Barolo, this is a great and relatively supple example which will drink over the next 6-8 years. Already displaying aromas and flavours of truffle and cherry liqueur it has wonderful texture, balance and beautifully integrated expensive French oak.

• Feel free to mix Fine Wines with “regular” wines to make up your order of 12 bottles (or more!) in total. However, at least 6 bottles must be Fine Wine products, because Fine Wines require special distribution from our temperature-controlled Fine Wine Centre in London. Original wooden cases not available outside the M25.

"Light ruby with some brick at the rim already. Autumnal mulch on the nose. Still pretty chewy on the finish, light to medium bodied with a bit of haunting tar. For converts but a very true style. Not a bad introduction. Drink 2009-14. 17 points."
