Brilliant garnet in colour, with a classic Rhône nose of bramble fruits and heady spice. The medium-bodied palate has fresh and snappy red fruit surrounded by firm and persistent tannins.

A classic blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Mourvèdre, this is an extremely subtle, balanced and complex rosé showing fresh berry aromas and hints of spice.

Bright and youthful purple colour, with an unmistakable hint of wild thyme on the nose, complementing the raspberry and plum fruit. Ripe and sweet fruit are balanced by drying, grippy tannins.

Turkey Flat 'Butcher's Block' Shiraz Grenache Mourvedre 2010 Barossa

The nose is floral with hints of five spice, plum, cherry and blackcurrant. The palate is generous, displaying juicy fruit with a firm palate structure. Elegant and restrained, with a velvety finish.

A classic Provence rosé, exhibiting aromas of fresh red berries, pears and hints of floral perfume. Lithe and supple on the palate, finishing with a subtle hint of liquorice.

Côtes du Rhône 2009/2010 Domaine Durieu

Dark purplish red, with a classic Rhône nose of red and black berries, enhanced with a touch of wild herbs and spice. Has plenty of body, but is supple and freshly juicy on the palate, with good length.

Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2008 Château de Beaucastel

This wine is part of an Exclusive Parcel secured through our Fine Wine Centre. 'More evolved than Beaucastel's wines tend to be, it reveals a healthy dark plum/ruby color, notes of licorice, meat juices, smoked game, black currants and garrigue, medium to full body, silky tannins, good freshness, surprising depth for the vintage and a long finish. Corbières La Combe des Oliviers 2009/2010

Hot and dry summers in the 'garrigue' landscape of Corbières give this chunky red (made from 70% Mourvedre and the rest Syrah and Grenache ) a whiff of rosemary and thyme alongside the blackberry and plum flavours.

An elegant nose of black fruit is followed by a remarkable palate of blackcurrant, thyme, liquorice and tobacco characters. Warming peppery spice on the finish makes this perfect with casseroles.
