This richness certainly continues on to the palate, where the dark, brambly fruit flavours are complemented by a touch of pepper, the oak is well integrated, adding hints of cedar. Although this is a full-bodied wine, the tannins are fine grained and smooth and the finish is long. The perfect partner for a hearty beef stew!"
