Established in 1685, Groot Constantia has a long tradition of quality winemaking. Their acclaimed winemaker Boela Gerber (Diners Club Young Winemaker of the Year in 2002), has blended Shiraz, Merlot, Pinotage, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Cabernet Franc to give a medium bodied, elegant wine. Showing strawberry and mulberry fruit, hints of chocolate and herb and finishing on a rich chocolately note.
