Excellent Value for Money , a nice alternative to yet anotehr boring cab sauv merlot blend

This shows what the new languedoc is all about , doing very interesting things with Carigan grapes and talent. a real surprise and not hidden behind oak , so the blend shines through. Decant it for an hour and it comes alive. put some away for two years and pull it out when you've got wine snobs over.

    Complex and smooth

I quite agree with the other reviewer... this one's a bargain. Give it a reasonable amount of time to breathe and it's a really rewarding glass: smooth and light with a good underlying richness of flavour. Perfect with a medium-strength cheese.

    Good value: complex, drinking now.

This was a pleasant surprise: The 12 wine makers have pooled their knowledge and grapes to build the best wine they can - and have done much better than the average Southern-French tannic-young drinker. At £6.49, I would rate this 3.5-4*s - it has plenty of body - not at all thin, but also not tannic: It is drinking well now. In the mouth it is smooth but still complex. Be interesting to hear from others - have a try and write down your thoughts here while you drink it.
