Origin
Château de Berne has 110ha of vines, and has been producing wine since 1750. Today it is both a winery specialising mainly in rosé, and a rural leisure resort, promoting wine tourism and sustainable viticulture in the Côtes de Provence.
Taste
This cool-fermented rosé has a vibrant rosy colour, and a nose of spring flowers, raspberry and strawberry. Juicy and fresh in the mouth, with a hint of peachy exotic fruit.
Enjoy
Best served with a Provençale lunch of anchoiade with salad and fresh tomatoes, or with grilled white fish.

    Easy-drinking, crisp, dry summer rosé

    Great apéro and goes well with light summer dishes, especially fish. Good value for money with the deal on at the moment.

    Gum Drops

    I'm afraid that I can't agree with other reviewers on the merits of this wine. My wife and I each had the same reaction to this wine -- an overwhelming taste of gum drops (acetate esters). We now regret that we bought 2 bottles. For our taste Château Guiot (Costières de Nîmes) is a much classier wine, and better value.

    Very nice summer rosé

    Don't normally go for French rosé wine, but this is the exception. This wine has the lovely fresh taste of summer fruit without being sweet. Lovely with cold summer food and fish - or just on its own.
