Morgon 2010/2011 Château de Pizay

This top class wine has a nose dominated by blackberries and cherries and a silky smooth palate with fine tannins combining. This wine is ready to drink now but Morgon is one of the longest-lasting crus and will therefore develop for a futher year or two.

Beaujolais 2011 Château de Pizay

A light, lithe and youthful wine, with a nose of red apples, raspberries and subtle notes of bell peppers and petals. Super-light tannins and ripe redcurrant fruit are framed by zingy acidity. Chill to around 12ºC and enjoy with coarse pâté or cured ham.

Brouilly 2010 Domaine des Maison Neuves

A deep coloured wine, showing great finesse and fruit intensity. The nose gives powerful aromas of ripe berry and currant notes. The palate shows soft tannins and a balanced acidity on the finish.

This wine has fresh strawberry aromas and pleasant earthy notes, light tannins and a rounded finish. Can be served slightly chilled, but deserves respect due to the soft aromas and lashings of fresh fruit.

This is a vibrant ruby coloured wine with a lifted perfumed nose of kirsch and sweet spice, hints of white pepper, an elegant balance of acidity and fruit, minimal tannins and a long sweet-spice finish. At its best when served lightly chilled and drunk within the next three years, especially with pork and poultry or grilled fish.

Beaujolais-Villages 2009/2010 Domaine des Nugues

Very bright and vibrantly coloured. Aromas of red berries, red fruit and spice leap from the glass. The intense colour is not matched by the tannins, which are light and soft, with an almost sweet finish.
