Dark ruby red with subtle violet tinges. Aromas are predominantly of ripe cherries, with nuances of vanilla and cinnamon. Rich and mouth-filling, with soft tannins and a velvety, savoury finish.

Bardolino 'Naiano' 2010/2011 Allegrini

Straightforward and unmistakably Italian, this Bardolino is bright ruby red, with a freshness of fruit and a slender frame. Lingering flavours of cherry and bitter almond add a dash of complexity.

Corvina Rosso Veronese 2009 Ca'del Pipa

The small 'workshop' set up in 1945 by founder Michele Castellani has transformed itself into a state-of-the-art winery. Rich in colour, with characters of redcurrant, liquorice, spice and underbrush.

Pasqua Rosato 2011 IGT Veneto

Pale rose pink in colour, with core aromas of red cherry, rosehip and dessert apple. Similar fruits on the palate are delivered with a nice crisp acidity, medium body, and a clean and refreshing finish. Chill well and serve as an aperitif or refresher at any 'al fresco' summer party.

Masi has been run by the Boscaini family for the past six generations, and their wines are rooted in tradition, representing the classic Venetian styles.
