Pale honeysuckle pink, and offering a clean nose of citrus fruit, offset by subtle floral and candied notes. Fresh acidity makes for a an incisive and lively palate, with a rounded feel. Partner with the delicate flavours of fresh shellfish, or with a mozzarella and sun-ripened tomato salad.

Lovely smoky plum aromas, full bodied and a lingering finish.

Chateau Musar 2003/2004

Concentrated and rich with plums, liquorice and spice. Musar is a fabulously different wine, very powerful but with plenty of finesse.

This wine's medium acidity and soft, precocious style, make it an unusually early-drinking Châteauneuf-du-Pape. An intriguing palate of smoke, coffee, olives, dark fruits, and spicy herbs.

Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2008 Château de Beaucastel

This wine is part of an Exclusive Parcel secured through our Fine Wine Centre. 'More evolved than Beaucastel's wines tend to be, it reveals a healthy dark plum/ruby color, notes of licorice, meat juices, smoked game, black currants and garrigue, medium to full body, silky tannins, good freshness, surprising depth for the vintage and a long finish. Drink it over the next decade'. 90 points. Robert Parker, The Wine Advocate.

Domaine Ott Rouge 2005 Château Romassan, Bandol

Mourvedre, Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah from Domaines Ott's Romassan estate have been blended together to create this classic red. The dominant Mourvedre gives this wine its spicy, animal personality and a generous bouquet of blackcurrant and morello cherry. It is rich in tannin, warm, and highly balanced. Makes for remarkable quaffing with beef ribs, spicy dishes and cheese.

Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée des Antiques 2008/2009

Aged in the famous cellars of Ogier Caves de Fournalet in the heart of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, this wine is dark ruby with a complex nose of spices and hints of pear.
