Chenin Blanc is grown in abundance across the Central vineyards of the Loire Valley, and is capable of producing many different styles, ranging from the rich sweet wines of Vouvray, to the light dry styles of Anjou. However, despite originating from France, today Chenin is mainly cultivated in South Africa, and is also a valuable component of some of the Sparkling wines of New Zealand.
