Excellent Chassagne-Montrachet from this low-lying 1er Cru vineyard, made by Richard Fontaine. Superbly rounded yet firmly structured, and with an expressive personality. Ideal for drinking immediately, or over the next 2-3 years.

A wonderful Chardonnay produced predominantly from very low-yielding Mendoza clone vines planted over 20 years ago. Winner of the Top New Zealand Chardonnay Trophy at the 2009 London International Wine Challenge.

Pale yellow in colour, with refined, persistent bubbles. The fruit-driven nose has delicate floral hints. Equally fruity on the palate, which is nicely balanced, refreshing and with good length.
