    An enjoyable bargin

We have a taste for Champagne at the £30 - £50 mark. But having tried this i find myself opting for this rather than the Champagne. A highly enjoyable bargin.

What a great buy ay 5.99!!

I have the good fortune to live in southern Spain and and have a wide appreciation of cavas. Raventos, with its chardonnay base, is one of the very best and currently costs €16 here in Spain. I often drink it as an alternative to champagne and, at the price now offered by Majastic, it is the 'steal' of the year!

    Definitely Fizzy

I thought I'd try something different. I found this too fizzy with no depth. I'll be back to the Prosecco for the same price. Could just be what I'm used to?

    Good quality Cava

This is the only Cava that I've tasted outside of Spain that I've really enjoyed. It isn't like the usual pile them high sell cheap type of Cava's that flood the supermarket shelves. It has complexity and could be mistaken for fizz costing far more than the price.

    Excellent value

Great tasting bubbly - great price. Lovely shaped bottles - except they don't ft in a standard wine rack sadly!

  • "From the same Codorníu stable and méthode champenoise process comes the Reserva Raventós Brut. This chardonnay-based fizz delivers pleasing, peppery, waxy spice and closes on a fine marzipan-like note that would make it a happy partner to a wedding cake or traditional Easter simnel cake"
