    Delicious!

This has always been one of my favourite wines. I've been drinking it now for nearly 15 years, well before it became popular. You won't be disappointed. Better than alot of champagnes.

    A summer Celebration

With the faintest pink/orange tint the fine bubbles and the club shaped bottle, this wine looks the thing. In the mouth the well balanced, rich flavour and the refined fruit continue the good impression . The persistn mousse tells of class. It drinks well with summer salads, cold meats and fish and at this price is very quaffable. Treat yourselves and your friends on a sunny summer day to a long lazy Sunday lunch Close

    Brilliant Value for Money

"Strawberries" "Fresh" "Clean" "Creamy" "Eminently drinkable" "Better than many other champagnes" "Delicate" - our guests used all those descriptions in response to my requests when I served this instead of "proper" champagne at over twice the price.; none of the guests had realised that it wasn't ! At around £11 a bottle it would still be excellent value for money - but at under £9 it's quite amazing value.

The best non-French fizz - not just for cocktails!

Easily the best sub-£10 sparkling wine I've had. What's more, it tastes better than most sub-£30 champagnes. Dry, but not too acidic and without the nasty, stale after-taste you can often get from cheap (and some not-so-cheap) champagne. Quite a full finish - very toasty and extremely pleasant. A slightly rusty/copper colour adds a little fun and frolic too. If we were get married again, I'd gladly serve this to the guests instead of an average champagne - if only as a slap in the face to any wine-snobs.

    WowWowWow

This is gorgeous! We had it at our wedding and it went down a treat. It's nicer than most medium range champagnes and is really stylish in colour ( a soft peachy pink) and taste. This is a real winner, everyone loves it and it's I can't recommend it highly enough.

    Reasonable

Pleasant initially, however after one glass I found no reason to continue with it. It seemed, to me, to be an uninteresting fizz. Buy a £12.00 prosecco and you will be more satisfied.

"I keep coming back to this sparkling for any celebration! There may well have been a boom in Prosecco over the last few years but New World producers such as Lindauer are now making fantastic sparklings which offer great value for money."

Press Reviews

  • "With its pinky colour, this bargain-priced New Zealand wine makes me rejoice at its sheer exuberance. Bottle-fermented and offering marvellous fruitiness, this is top-quality fizz to share among those you love for the price of a single cinema ticket."
